Isaiah 31 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and depend on horses, and confide in chariots because [they are] many, and in horsemen because they are very strong; and who look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Jehovah!ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖੋ। ਲੋਕ ਘੋੜੇ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਘੋੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਰੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜਸਵਾਰ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਲੋਕ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ (ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ) ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦੇ।

2 But he also is wise, and he bringeth evil, and recalleth not his words; and he will arise against the house of evildoers, and against the help of workers of iniquity.ਪਰ, ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

3 And the Egyptians are men, and not ùGod, and their horses flesh, and not spirit; and Jehovah shall stretch forth his hand, and he that helpeth shall stumble, and he that is helped shall fall, and they all shall perish together.ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਹਨ-ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਹਨ-ਆਤਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਾਜ਼ੂ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ (ਮਿਸਰ) ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ (ਯਹੂਦਾਹ) ਢਹਿ ਪੈਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

4 For thus hath Jehovah said unto me: Like as the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, is not afraid of their voice, nor giveth way before the multitude of them; so will Jehovah of hosts come down to war upon mount Zion, and on the hill thereof.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਫੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੀਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ। ਲੋਕ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਉਣ ਪਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੱਜੇਗਾ।” ਓਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਤਰੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੜੇਗਾ।

5 As birds with outstretched wings, so will Jehovah of hosts cover Jerusalem; covering, he will also deliver, passing over, he will rescue [it].ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੰਛੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲ੍ਹਣਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਡਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ।

6 Turn unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, ye children of Israel;ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਚਿਓ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

7 for in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your sinful hands have made unto you.ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਉਦੋਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ।

8 And Asshur shall fall by the sword, not of a great man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall become tributary;ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਨਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੱਜੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਬੰਦੇ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

9 and for fear, he shall pass over to his rock, and his princes shall be afraid of the banner, saith Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਝੰਡੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਠ੍ਠੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
