ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਤੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹਾਂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੱਥ ਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਮੈਂ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਸਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਛਾਂਗ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਸਨ।। ਮੈਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਘਣੇ ਉਸ ਜੰਗਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹਾਂ।

By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.

By thy servants hast thou defied the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir-trees thereof; and I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field;

thy servants עֲבָדֶיךָ֮ ʿebed eh-VED
hast thou reproached חֵרַ֣פְתָּ׀ ḥārap ha-RAHF
the Lord, אֲדֹנָי֒ ʾădōnāy uh-doh-NAI
and hast said, וַתֹּ֗אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
By the multitude בְּרֹ֥ב rōb rove
of my chariots רִכְבִּ֛י rekeb reh-HEV
am I אֲנִ֥י ʾănî uh-NEE
come up עָלִ֛יתִי ʿālâ ah-LA
to the height מְר֥וֹם mārôm ma-ROME
of the mountains, הָרִ֖ים har hahr
to the sides יַרְכְּתֵ֣י yĕrēkâ yeh-ray-HA
of Lebanon; לְבָנ֑וֹן lĕbānôn leh-va-NONE
and I will cut down וְאֶכְרֹ֞ת kārat ka-RAHT
the tall קוֹמַ֤ת qômâ koh-MA
cedars אֲרָזָיו֙ ʾerez eh-REZ
thereof, the choice מִבְחַ֣ר mibḥār meev-HAHR
fir trees בְּרֹשָׁ֔יו bĕrôš beh-ROHSH
thereof: and I will enter וְאָבוֹא֙ bôʾ boh
into the height מְר֣וֹם mārôm ma-ROME
of his border, קִצּ֔וֹ qēṣ kayts
the forest יַ֖עַר yaʿar ya-AR
