Isaiah 57 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from before the evil.ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਯਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ। ਸਭ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲੈ ਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

2 He entereth into peace: they rest in their beds, [each one] that hath walked in his uprightness.ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਵੇਂ ਰਹੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਿਉਣ।

3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.“ਜਾਦੂਗਰਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਿਓ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਓ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਕਾਮ ਲਈ ਵੇਚਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਆਓ!

4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? Against whom do ye make a wide mouth, [and] draw out the tongue? Are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਦ ਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਚਿੜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜੀਭਾਂ ਕੱਢਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਦ੍ਰੋਹੀ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹੋ।

5 inflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clefts of the rocks?ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਹਰੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਨਦੀ ਕੰਢੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤੇ ਪਬਰੀਲੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

6 Among the smooth [stones] of the torrent is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured out a drink-offering, thou hast offered an oblation. Shall I be comforted myself as to these things?ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੂਲੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਅ ਛਿੜਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੱਥਰ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਨੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ।

7 Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither didst thou go up to offer sacrifice.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਿਸਤਰੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ।

8 Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for apart from me, thou hast uncovered thyself, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and hast made agreement with them; thou lovedst their bed, thou sawest their nakedness.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੇਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਗਨ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਪਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਨਿਆਂ ਓਹਲੇ ਛੁਪਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।

9 And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst multiply thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers afar off, and didst debase thyself unto Sheol.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੋਲਕ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲਈ ਅਤਰ-ਫ਼ੁਲੇਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਭੇਜੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਓਲ ਤੀਕ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।

10 Thou wast wearied by the multitude of thy ways; [but] thou saidst not, It is of no avail. Thou didst find a quickening of thy strength; therefore thou wast not sick [of it].ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਕੱਦੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

11 And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor taken it to heart? Have not I even of long time held my peace, and thou fearest me not?ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ! ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਸੀ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਝੂਠ ਕਿਉਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ? ਦੇਖੋ, ਚੁੱਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੀਕ-ਤੇ ਆਦਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ।

12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; and they shall not profit thee.ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ‘ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ’ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਸਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਨੇ!

13 When thou criest, let them that are gathered by thee deliver thee! But a wind shall carry them all away, a breath shall take them; but he that putteth his trust in me shall inherit the land, and possess my holy mountain.ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਓ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਵਗਦੀ ਹਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਹਵਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬੁੱਲਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਵਗ੍ਹਾ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੇਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ, ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”

14 And it shall be said, Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-blocks out of the way of my people.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ! ਰਸਤਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ! ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਰਸਤਾ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ!

15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, and whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy [place], and with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਦਾਸ ਨੇ।

16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth; for the spirit would fail before me, and the souls [which] I have made.ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਲੜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him; I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on backslidingly in the way of his heart.ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੇ, ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰੋਹ ਜਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਸਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਉਧਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਧਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਮਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him; and I will lead him, and will restore comforts unto him and to those of his that mourn.ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਜਿੱਧਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਰੋਗ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਦਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

19 I create the fruit of the lips: peace, peace to him [that is] afar off, and to him [that is] nigh, saith Jehovah; and I will heal him.ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ‘ਅਮਨ’ ਸਿੱਖਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਨ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਨੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰੋਗ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ!” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਨੇ।

20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, which cannot rest, and whose waters cast up mire and dirt.ਪਰ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਗੁਸੈਲੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਉਹ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਗਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਿੜਕਦੇ ਨੇ।

21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਮਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।”
