Luke 14:20
ਤੀਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਣੇ-ਹੁਣੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਦਾ।’

“ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਨਵਾਂ-ਨਵਾਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਖਾਸ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਵਿਆਹੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

“ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਤਾ, ਪਤਨੀ, ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੇਰਾ ਚੇਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ।
