Proverbs 20:19
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਗਲੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਬੜਬੋਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸਤ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਓ।

ਅਹਬਾਰ 19:16
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਖਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਐਵੇਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਖਲੋਵੋ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।
ਅਮਸਾਲ 13:3
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਵੱਧਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦਾ ਬਚਾਉ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੋਚੇ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਕ ਹਿੰਸੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਜੋ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਲੋਕ ਚੁਗਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਚੰਗੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਢਿੱਡ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਰਾਈ ਤਾਂਈ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

-30- ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਟੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੋ। ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।

ਜੇ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਤਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਝਗੜਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
