ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 54

1 ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਸਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਮਸੱਕੀਲ, ਉਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਫ਼ੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਡਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਲੁਕੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।” ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੋ। ਆਪਣੀ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰੋ।

2 ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ, ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣੋ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

3 ਉਹ ਅਜਨਬੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਤਕੜੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

4 ਦੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।

5 ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਫ਼ਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

6 ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।

7 ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਿਆ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ।

4 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

5 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

6 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

7 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.

8 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
