Proverbs 16:25
ਇੱਕ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਰਾਹ ਮੌਤ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ।

Isaiah 28:15
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਿਓਲ (ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ) ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਚੁਸਤ ਚਲਾਕੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਓਹਲੇ ਛੁਪ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ।”
