ਅਮਨੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਸੀ। ਤਾਮਾਰ ਬੜੀ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਅਮਨੋਨ ਨੇ ਤਾਮਾਰ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
