Proverbs 21:18
ਇੱਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਲਈ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇੰਝ ਹੀ ਕਪਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਲਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਝੱਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਵਾਰ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਰਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਰਿਆ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਸਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।
