Proverbs 21:20
ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਅਨਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

| of the wise; | חָכָ֑ם | ḥākām | ha-HAHM |
| foolish a but | וּכְסִ֖יל | ûkĕsîl | oo-heh-SEEL |
| man | אָדָ֣ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| spendeth it up. | יְבַלְּעֶֽנּוּ׃ | yĕballĕʿennû | yeh-va-leh-EH-noo |
