Psalm 139 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me].ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਗੀਤ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।

2 *Thou* knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off;ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੋਂ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਰੋ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।

3 Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

4 For there is not yet a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਚਾਰ-ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਹੋ।

5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਾਰ-ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ, ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੌਲੀ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ।

6 O knowledge too wonderful for me! it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.ਮੈਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੈ।

7 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither flee from thy presence?ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

8 If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou [art there];ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੂ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

9 [If] I take the wings of the dawn [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਉੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਪੱਛਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.ਉੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੱਥ ਰਾਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।

11 And if I say, Surely darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਛੁਪਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਾਂ, “ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਪਾ ਲਵੇਗਾ।”

12 Even darkness hideth not from thee, and the night shineth as the day: the darkness is as the light.ਪਰ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ। ਰਾਤ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

13 For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਸਾਥ ਬੁਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅਜੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਗਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂ।

14 I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜੀਬ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਹੈ।

15 My bones were not hidden from thee when I was made in secret, curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।

16 Thine eyes did see my unformed substance, and in thy book all [my members] were written; [during many] days were they fashioned, when [as yet] there was none of them.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਅੰਦਰ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰ-ਰੋਜ਼ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਗੁੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

17 But how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O ùGod! how great is the sum of them!ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੰਨਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ!

18 [If] I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.ਜੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਕਣਾਂ ਨਾਲੋ ਵੀ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ।

19 Oh that thou wouldest slay the wicked, O +God! And ye men of blood, depart from me.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਉ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਤਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੋ।

20 For they speak of thee wickedly, they take [thy name] in vain, thine enemies.ਉਹ ਬਦ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦਾ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

21 Do not I hate them, O Jehovah, that hate thee? and do not I loathe them that rise up against thee?ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I account them mine enemies.ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹਨ।

23 Search me, O ùGod, and know my heart; prove me, and know my thoughts;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁੱਝ ਲਵੋ। ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰੱਖ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ।

24 And see if there be any grievous way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.ਵੇਖੋ ਕਿਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਬੁਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਾਹਨੁਮਾਈ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਹੈ।
