Psalm 38 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 {A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦਗਿਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ। ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਨਿੰਦੋ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਜਮ ਨਾ ਸਿੱਖਾਉ।

2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੀਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਧਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; no peace in my bones, because of my sin.ਤੁਸਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਡ ਦੁੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

4 For mine iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.ਮੈਂ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਸ਼ ਡਾਢੇ ਭਾਰ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਰਿਮੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਅਤਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ।

5 My wounds stink, they are corrupt, because of my foolishness.ਮੇਰੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੜਿਆਂਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਰੱਖਮਈ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।

6 I am depressed; I am bowed down beyond measure; I go mourning all the day.ਮੇਰੀ ਕਮਰ ਝੁਕ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਦਿਨ ਭਰ ਗਮਗੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

7 For my loins are full of burning, and there is no soundness in my flesh.ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੁੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

8 I am faint and broken beyond measure; I roar by reason of the agitation of my heart.ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਦਰਦ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਚੂਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

9 Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਰਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਰਾਹੁਣਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਹੌਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਥੋ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

10 My heart throbbeth, my strength hath left me; and the light of mine eyes, it also is no more with me.ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

11 My lovers and mine associates stand aloof from my stroke; and my kinsmen stand afar off.ਮੇਰੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ। ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢੁਕਦਾ।

12 And they that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all the day long.ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਅਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਵਾਹਾਂ ਫ਼ੈਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਭਰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

13 But I, as a deaf [man], hear not; and am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਬੋਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਗੂੰਗੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

14 Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹਿਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਗਲਤ ਹਨ।

15 For in thee, Jehovah, do I hope: *thou* wilt answer, O Lord my God.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਬੋਲੋ।

16 For I said, Let them not rejoice over me! When my foot slipped, they magnified [themselves] against me.ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਸਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੰਡ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।”

17 For I am ready to halt, and my pain is continually before me.ਮੇਰੇ ਦਰਦ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਛੱਡਣ ਹੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ।

18 For I will declare mine iniquity, I am grieved for my sin.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ।

19 But mine enemies are lively, they are strong; and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied:ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲੇ ਹਨ।

20 And they that render evil for good are adversaries unto me; because I pursue what is good.ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਚੰਗੇ ਸਲੂਕ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ।

21 Forsake me not, Jehovah; O my God, be not far from me.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਉ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਰਹੋ।

22 Make haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.ਛੇਤੀ ਆਉ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉ।
