Psalm 55:23
ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਧੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮੁੱਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ। ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ।

| bloody | אַנְשֵׁ֤י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| deceitful and | דָמִ֣ים | dāmîm | da-MEEM |
| men | וּ֭מִרְמָה | ûmirmâ | OO-meer-ma |
| shall not | לֹא | lōʾ | loh |
| live out half | יֶחֱצ֣וּ | yeḥĕṣû | yeh-hay-TSOO |
| days; their | יְמֵיהֶ֑ם | yĕmêhem | yeh-may-HEM |
| but I | וַ֝אֲנִ֗י | waʾănî | VA-uh-NEE |
