Psalm 56 - ASV (Punjabi)

1 Be merciful unto me, O God; for man would swallow me up: All the day long he fighting oppresseth me.ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਲਈ: ਧੁਨੀ ਨੂੰ “ਉੱਕ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਘੁੱਗੀ।” ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਭੱਗਤੀ ਗੀਤ, ਜਦੋਂ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੋ। ਉਹ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

2 Mine enemies would swallow me up all the day long; For they are many that fight proudly against me.ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹਨ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਨ।

3 What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in thee.ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

4 In God (I will praise his word), In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can flesh do unto me?ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

5 All the day long they wrest my words: All their thoughts are against me for evil.ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਂੜਦੇ ਮਰੋੜਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿਉਂਤਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

6 They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, They mark my steps, Even as they have waited for my soul.ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਛੁਪ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਹਰ ਹਰਕਤ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੱਕਣ।

7 Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਦੂਰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿਉ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਝੱਲਣ ਲਈ ਦੂਰ ਭੇਜ ਦਿਉ।

8 Thou numberest my wanderings: Put thou my tears into thy bottle; Are they not in thy book?ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਵੇਖੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਰੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

9 Then shall mine enemies turn back in the day that I call: This I know, that God is for me.ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਉ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿਆਂ। ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਵੇਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਂ।

10 In God (I will praise `his' word), In Jehovah (I will praise `his' word),ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

11 In God have I put my trust, I will not be afraid; What can man do unto me?ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਕੀਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਜੋ ਲੋਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

12 Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render thank-offerings unto thee.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖਾਸ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ।

13 For thou hast delivered my soul from death: `Hast thou' not `delivered' my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living? Michtam; when he fled from Saul, in the cave.ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਾਂ।
