Psalm 83 - DBY (Punjabi)

1 {A Song; a Psalm of Asaph.} O God, keep not silence; hold not thy peace, and be not still, O ùGod:ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਆਖੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ।

2 For behold, thine enemies make a tumult; and they that hate thee lift up the head.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਾਜਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਘੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

3 They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult against thy hidden ones:ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹਿਸਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਂ।

4 They say, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be mentioned no more.ਵੈਰੀ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, “ਆਓ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਈਏ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।”

5 For they have consulted together with one heart: they have made an alliance together against thee.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕਰਾਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਜੋ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites;ਉਹ ਵੈਰੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਠ ਹੋ ਗਏ: ਉਹ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਮਾਈਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ। ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਔਲਾਦ ਗਬਾਲ, ਅੰਮੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕ, ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਠ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।

7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia, with the inhabitants of Tyre;

8 Asshur also is joined with them: they are an arm to the sons of Lot. Selah.ਅਸ਼ੂਰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਲਾਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

9 Do unto them as to Midian; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the torrent of Kishon:ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਵੇਂ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਉ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੀਸਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਸ਼ੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਦੀ ਕੰਢੇ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

10 Who were destroyed at Endor; they became as dung for the ground.ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਏਨ-ਦੋਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੜੀਆਂ।

11 Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb; and all their chiefs as Zebah and as Zalmunna.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਉ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਓਰੇਬ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਏਬ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਬਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਮੁੰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

12 For they have said, Let us take to ourselves God's dwelling-places in possession.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ।

13 O my God, make them like a whirling thing, like stubble before the wind.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੰਬੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਉ। ਜੋ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਡ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਵੇਂ ਖਿੰਡਾ ਦਿਉ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਵਾ ਤਿਨਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੰਡਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

14 As fire burneth a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire,ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਜੰਗਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਦੀ ਹੈ।

15 So pursue them with thy tempest, and terrify them with thy whirlwind.ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਡਾਈ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਧੂੜ ਵਾਂਗ ਦੂਰ ਕੱਢ ਦਿਉ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਡਾ ਦਿਉ।

16 Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਕ ਸਿੱਖਾਉ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਣਗੇ।

17 Let them be put to shame and be dismayed for ever, and let them be confounded and perish:ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ।

18 That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, art the Most High over all the earth.ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਰਬ ਉੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ।
