1 Chronicles 20:3
దానియందున్న జనులను అతడు వెలుపలికి కొనిపోయి, వారిలో కొందరిని రంపములతో కోయించెను, కొందరిని ఇనుపదంతెలతో చీరించెను; కొందరిని గొడ్డళ్ళతో నరికించెను. ఈ ప్రకారము అతడు అమ్మోనీయుల పట్టణములన్నిటికిని చేసెను, అంతట దావీదును జనులందరును యెరూషలేము నకు తిరిగివచ్చిరి.

| harrows with and | וַיָּ֨שַׂר | wayyāśar | va-YA-sahr |
| of iron, | בַּמְּגֵרָ֜ה | bammĕgērâ | ba-meh-ɡay-RA |
| axes. with and | וּבַֽחֲרִיצֵ֤י | ûbaḥărîṣê | oo-va-huh-ree-TSAY |
| Even so | הַבַּרְזֶל֙ | habbarzel | ha-bahr-ZEL |
| dealt | וּבַמְּגֵר֔וֹת | ûbammĕgērôt | oo-va-meh-ɡay-ROTE |
| David | וְכֵן֙ | wĕkēn | veh-HANE |
| all with | יַֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה | yaʿăśe | ya-uh-SEH |
| the cities | דָוִ֔יד | dāwîd | da-VEED |
| children the of | לְכֹ֖ל | lĕkōl | leh-HOLE |
| of Ammon. | עָרֵ֣י | ʿārê | ah-RAY |
| And David | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| all and | עַמּ֑וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| the people | וַיָּ֧שָׁב | wayyāšob | va-YA-shove |
| returned | דָּוִ֛יד | dāwîd | da-VEED |
| to Jerusalem. | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM | |
| יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ | yĕrûšāloim | yeh-ROO-sha-loh-EEM |
