పరాక్రమశాలులగు వాని సహోదరులు రెండువేల ఏడువందలమంది యింటి పెద్దలుగా కనబడిరి, దావీదు రాజు దేవుని సంబంధమైన కార్యముల విషయములోను రాజకార్యముల విషయములోను రూబే నీయుల మీదను గాదీయులమీదను మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారి మీదను వారిని నియమించెను.

made rulers וַֽיַּפְקִידֵ֞ם pāqad pa-KAHD
David דָּוִ֣יד dāwid da-VEED
whom king הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
over עַל ʿal al
the Reubenites, הָרֽאוּבֵנִ֤י rĕʾûbēnî reh-oo-vay-NEE
the Gadites, וְהַגָּדִי֙ gādî ɡa-DEE
and the half וַֽחֲצִי֙ ḥēṣî hay-TSEE
tribe שֵׁ֣בֶט šēbeṭ shay-VET
of Manasseh, הַֽמְנַשִּׁ֔י mĕnaššî meh-na-SHEE
for every לְכָל kōl kole
matter דְּבַ֥ר dābār da-VAHR
pertaining to God, הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
and affairs וּדְבַ֥ר dābār da-VAHR
of the king. הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ melek meh-LEK
