1 Kings 12:4
నీ తండ్రి బరువైన కాడిని మామీద ఉంచెను; నీ తండ్రి నియమించిన కఠినమైన దాస్యమును మామీద అతడు ఉంచిన బరువైన కాడిని నీవు చులకన చేసినయెడల మేము నీకు సేవచేయుదుము.

| the grievous | הָקֵל֩ | hāqēl | ha-KALE |
| service | מֵֽעֲבֹדַ֨ת | mēʿăbōdat | may-uh-voh-DAHT |
| father, thy of | אָבִ֜יךָ | ʾābîkā | ah-VEE-ha |
| and his heavy | הַקָּשָׁ֗ה | haqqāšâ | ha-ka-SHA |
| yoke | וּמֵעֻלּ֧וֹ | ûmēʿullô | oo-may-OO-loh |
| which | הַכָּבֵ֛ד | hakkābēd | ha-ka-VADE |
| he put | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| upon | נָתַ֥ן | nātan | na-TAHN |
| us, lighter, | עָלֵ֖ינוּ | ʿālênû | ah-LAY-noo |
| and we will serve | וְנַֽעַבְדֶֽךָּ׃ | wĕnaʿabdekkā | veh-NA-av-DEH-ka |
