1 Kings 22:35
నాడు యుద్ధము బలముగా జరుగుచున్నప్పుడు రాజును సిరియనుల యెదుట అతని రథముమీద నిలువ బెట్టిరి; అస్తమయమందు అతడు మరణమాయెను; తగిలిన గాయములోనుండి అతని రక్తము కారి రథములో మడుగు గట్టెను.

| in his chariot | בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֖ה | bammerkābâ | ba-mer-ka-VA |
| against | נֹ֣כַח | nōkaḥ | NOH-hahk |
| the Syrians, | אֲרָ֑ם | ʾărām | uh-RAHM |
| died and | וַיָּ֣מָת | wayyāmot | va-YA-mote |
| at even: | בָּעֶ֔רֶב | bāʿereb | ba-EH-rev |
| and the blood | וַיִּ֥צֶק | wayyiṣeq | va-YEE-tsek |
| ran out | דַּֽם | dam | dahm |
| wound the of | הַמַּכָּ֖ה | hammakkâ | ha-ma-KA |
| into | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the midst | חֵ֥יק | ḥêq | hake |
