1 Kings 8:36
నీవు ఆకాశమందు విని, నీ దాసులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులగు నీ జనులు చేసిన పాపమును క్షమించి, వారు నడువవలసిన సన్మార్గమును వారికి చూపించి, నీ జనులకు నీవు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చిన భూమి మీద వర్షము కురిపింపుము.

| thou | תִּשְׁמַ֣ע | tišmaʿ | teesh-MA |
| in heaven, | הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם | haššāmayim | ha-sha-MA-yeem |
| forgive and | וְסָ֨לַחְתָּ֜ | wĕsālaḥtā | veh-SA-lahk-TA |
| the sin | לְחַטַּ֤את | lĕḥaṭṭat | leh-ha-TAHT |
| servants, thy of | עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ | ʿăbādêkā | uh-va-DAY-HA |
| and of thy people | וְעַמְּךָ֣ | wĕʿammĕkā | veh-ah-meh-HA |
| Israel, | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| that | כִּ֥י | kî | kee |
| thou teach | תוֹרֵ֛ם | tôrēm | toh-RAME |
| them | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| the | הַדֶּ֥רֶךְ | hadderek | ha-DEH-rek |
| good | הַטּוֹבָ֖ה | haṭṭôbâ | ha-toh-VA |
| way | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| walk, should they wherein | יֵֽלְכוּ | yēlĕkû | YAY-leh-hoo |
| and give | בָ֑הּ | bāh | va |
| rain | וְנָֽתַתָּ֤ה | wĕnātattâ | veh-na-ta-TA |
| upon | מָטָר֙ | māṭār | ma-TAHR |
| land, thy | עַל | ʿal | al |
| which | אַרְצְךָ֔ | ʾarṣĕkā | ar-tseh-HA |
| thou hast given | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| people thy to | נָתַ֥תָּה | nātattâ | na-TA-ta |
| for an inheritance. | לְעַמְּךָ֖ | lĕʿammĕkā | leh-ah-meh-HA |
| לְנַֽחֲלָֽה׃ | lĕnaḥălâ | leh-NA-huh-LA |
