దేవుని మందసము అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయొద్ద ఉండగాదేవుని మందసమును ఇక్కడికి తీసికొనిరమ్మని సౌలు అహీయాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

సాదోకును లేవీయులందరును దేవుని నిబంధన మందసమును మోయుచు అతనియొద్ద ఉండిరి. వారు దేవుని మందసమును దింపగా అబ్యాతారు వచ్చి పట్టణములోనుండి జనులందరును దాటిపోవు వరకు నిలిచెను.
