రెహబాము చేసిన కార్యములన్నిటిని గూర్చియు షెమయా రచించిన గ్రంథమందును దీర్ఘదర్శియైన ఇద్దో రచించిన వంశావళియందును వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

| they are | הֲלֹא | hălōʾ | huh-LOH |
| not | הֵ֨ם | hēm | hame |
| written | כְּתוּבִ֜ים | kĕtûbîm | keh-too-VEEM |
| in the book | בְּדִבְרֵ֨י | bĕdibrê | beh-deev-RAY |
| of Shemaiah | שְׁמַעְיָ֧ה | šĕmaʿyâ | sheh-ma-YA |
| prophet, the | הַנָּבִ֛יא | hannābîʾ | ha-na-VEE |
| and of Iddo | וְעִדּ֥וֹ | wĕʿiddô | veh-EE-doh |
| seer the | הַֽחֹזֶ֖ה | haḥōze | ha-hoh-ZEH |
| concerning genealogies? | לְהִתְיַחֵ֑שׂ | lĕhityaḥēś | leh-heet-ya-HASE |
| wars were there And | וּמִלְחֲמ֧וֹת | ûmilḥămôt | oo-meel-huh-MOTE |
