Deuteronomy 20:16
అయితే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్వాస్థ్య ముగా నీకిచ్చుచున్న యీ జనముల పురములలో ఊపిరిగల దేనిని బ్రదుకనియ్యకూడదు.

| thee for an inheritance, | לְךָ֖ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| alive save shalt thou | נַֽחֲלָ֑ה | naḥălâ | na-huh-LA |
| nothing | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| תְחַיֶּ֖ה | tĕḥayye | teh-ha-YEH | |
| that breatheth: | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| נְשָׁמָֽה׃ | nĕšāmâ | neh-sha-MA |
