నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుటనుండి వారిని తోలి వేసినతరువాతనేను ఈ దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లుగా యెహోవా నా నీతినిబట్టి నన్ను ప్రవేశ పెట్టెనని అనుకొనవద్దు. ఈ జనముల చెడుతనమునుబట్టియే యెహోవా నీ యెదుట నుండి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
