Ecclesiastes 12:1
దుర్దినములు రాకముందేఇప్పుడు వీటియందు నాకు సంతోషము లేదని నీవు చెప్పు సంవత్సరములు రాకముందే,

| אֲשֶׁ֤ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| the evil | לֹא | lōʾ | loh |
| days | יָבֹ֙אוּ֙ | yābōʾû | ya-VOH-OO |
| come | יְמֵ֣י | yĕmê | yeh-MAY |
| not, | הָֽרָעָ֔ה | hārāʿâ | ha-ra-AH |
| nor the years | וְהִגִּ֣יעוּ | wĕhiggîʿû | veh-hee-ɡEE-oo |
| draw nigh, | שָׁנִ֔ים | šānîm | sha-NEEM |
| when | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| say, shalt thou | תֹּאמַ֔ר | tōʾmar | toh-MAHR |
| I have no | אֵֽין | ʾên | ane |
| pleasure | לִ֥י | lî | lee |
| in them; | בָהֶ֖ם | bāhem | va-HEM |
| חֵֽפֶץ׃ | ḥēpeṣ | HAY-fets |
