Genesis 19:15
తెల్లవారినప్పుడు ఆ దూతలు లోతును త్వరపెట్టిలెమ్ము; ఈ ఊరి దోషశిక్షలో నశించిపోకుండ నీ భార్యను ఇక్కడనున్న నీ యిద్దరు కుమార్తెలను తీసికొని రమ్మని చెప్పిరి.

నీవు త్వరపడి అక్కడికి తప్పించుకొని పొమ్ము; నీ వక్కడ చేరువరకు నేనేమియు చేయలేననెను. అందుచేత ఆ ఊరికి సోయరు అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను.
