Genesis 38:9
ఓనాను ఆ సంతా నము తనది కానేరదని యెరిగి ఆమెతో పోయినప్పుడు తన అన్నకు సంతానము కలుగజేయకుండునట్లు తన రేతస్సును నేలను విడిచెను.

| wife, | אֵ֤שֶׁת | ʾēšet | A-shet |
| that he spilled | אָחִיו֙ | ʾāḥîw | ah-heeoo |
| ground, the on it | וְשִׁחֵ֣ת | wĕšiḥēt | veh-shee-HATE |
| lest | אַ֔רְצָה | ʾarṣâ | AR-tsa |
