Hosea 4:1
ఇశ్రాయేలువారలారా, యెహోవా మాట ఆల కించుడి. సత్యమును కనికరమును దేవునిగూర్చిన జ్ఞానమును దేశమందు లేకపోవుట చూచి యెహోవా దేశనివాసులతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడుచున్నాడు.

| inhabitants the | יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י | yôšĕbê | yoh-sheh-VAY |
| of the land, | הָאָ֔רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| because | כִּ֠י | kî | kee |
| there is no | אֵין | ʾên | ane |
| truth, | אֱמֶ֧ת | ʾĕmet | ay-MET |
| nor | וְֽאֵין | wĕʾên | VEH-ane |
| mercy, | חֶ֛סֶד | ḥesed | HEH-sed |
| nor | וְאֵֽין | wĕʾên | veh-ANE |
| knowledge | דַּ֥עַת | daʿat | DA-at |
| of God | אֱלֹהִ֖ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
