Hosea 4:9
కాబట్టి జనులకు ఏలాగో యాజకులకును ఆలాగే సంభవించును; వారి ప్రవర్తనను బట్టి నేను వారిని శిక్షింతును, వారి క్రియలనుబట్టి వారికి ప్రతికారము చేతును.

| like priest: | כַּכֹּהֵ֑ן | kakkōhēn | ka-koh-HANE |
| punish will I and | וּפָקַדְתִּ֤י | ûpāqadtî | oo-fa-kahd-TEE |
| עָלָיו֙ | ʿālāyw | ah-lav | |
| ways, their for them | דְּרָכָ֔יו | dĕrākāyw | deh-ra-HAV |
| and reward | וּמַעֲלָלָ֖יו | ûmaʿălālāyw | oo-ma-uh-la-LAV |
| them their doings. | אָשִׁ֥יב | ʾāšîb | ah-SHEEV |
