Isaiah 24:1
ఆలకించుడి యెహోవా దేశమును వట్టిదిగా చేయుచున్నాడు ఆయన దాని పాడుగాచేసి కల్లోలపరచుచున్నాడు దాని నివాసులను చెదరగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

| empty, | הָאָ֖רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| and maketh it waste, | וּבֽוֹלְקָ֑הּ | ûbôlĕqāh | oo-voh-leh-KA |
| turneth and | וְעִוָּ֣ה | wĕʿiwwâ | veh-ee-WA |
| it upside down, | פָנֶ֔יהָ | pānêhā | fa-NAY-ha |
| abroad scattereth and | וְהֵפִ֖יץ | wĕhēpîṣ | veh-hay-FEETS |
| the inhabitants | יֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃ | yōšĕbêhā | yoh-sheh-VAY-ha |
