Jeremiah 21:9
ఈ పట్టణములో నిలుచువారు కత్తివలన గాని క్షామమువలనగాని తెగులువలనగాని చచ్చెదరు, మేలుచేయుటకుకాదు కీడుచేయుటకే నేను ఈ పట్టణ మునకు అభిముఖుడనైతిని గనుక బయటకు వెళ్లి మిమ్మును ముట్టడి వేయుచున్న కల్దీయులకు లోబడువారు బ్రదుకు దురు; దోపుడుసొమ్ము దక్కినట్లుగా వారి ప్రాణము వారికి దక్కును.

| out, goeth that he but | וְהַיּוֹצֵא֩ | wĕhayyôṣēʾ | veh-ha-yoh-TSAY |
| and falleth | וְנָפַ֨ל | wĕnāpal | veh-na-FAHL |

| Chaldeans the | הַכַּשְׂדִּ֜ים | hakkaśdîm | ha-kahs-DEEM |
| that besiege | הַצָּרִ֤ים | haṣṣārîm | ha-tsa-REEM |
