| spake and | וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ | wayyōʾmĕrû | va-YOH-meh-ROO |
| to | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the assembly | קְהַ֥ל | qĕhal | keh-HAHL |
| of the people, | הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹֽר׃ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
