​మీరైనను మీ పితరులైనను ఎరుగని అన్యదేవతలను అనుసరించుచు పూజించుచు వాటికి ధూపము వేయుచు వచ్చుటవలన వాటి నివాసులు తాము చేసికొనిన దోషముచేత నాకు కోపము పుట్టించిరి గనుక నేడు నివాసులులేకుండ అవి పాడుపడి యున్నవి గదా.

to provoke me to anger, לְהַכְעִסֵ֔נִי kaʿas ka-AS
in that they went לָלֶ֣כֶת hālak ha-LAHK
to burn incense, לְקַטֵּ֔ר qāṭar ka-TAHR
to serve לַעֲבֹ֖ד ʿābad ah-VAHD
gods, לֵאלֹהִ֣ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
other אֲחֵרִ֑ים ʾaḥēr ah-HARE
whom אֲשֶׁר֙ ʾăšer uh-SHER
not, לֹ֣א lōʾ loh
they knew יְדָע֔וּם yādaʿ ya-DA
they, הֵ֖מָּה hēm hame
ye, אַתֶּ֥ם ʾattâ ah-TA
nor your fathers. וַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ ʾāb av
