Jeremiah 46:8
ఐగుప్తీయుల దండు నైలునదివలె ప్రవహించుచున్నది. దాని జలములు తొణకునట్లుగా అది వచ్చుచున్నది.నేనెక్కి భూమిని కప్పెదనుపట్టణమును దాని నివాసులను నాశనము చేసెదను.

| moved are | יִתְגֹּ֣עֲשׁוּ | yitgōʿăšû | yeet-ɡOH-uh-shoo |
| like the rivers; | מָ֑יִם | māyim | MA-yeem |
| and he saith, | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| up, go will I | אַֽעֲלֶה֙ | ʾaʿăleh | ah-uh-LEH |
| and will cover | אֲכַסֶּה | ʾăkasse | uh-ha-SEH |
| the earth; | אֶ֔רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| destroy will I | אֹבִ֥ידָה | ʾōbîdâ | oh-VEE-da |
| the city | עִ֖יר | ʿîr | eer |
| and the inhabitants | וְיֹ֥שְׁבֵי | wĕyōšĕbê | veh-YOH-sheh-vay |
