Jeremiah 48:8
యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

| city | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| shall escape: | תִמָּלֵ֔ט | timmālēṭ | tee-ma-LATE |
| valley the | וְאָבַ֥ד | wĕʾābad | veh-ah-VAHD |
| also shall perish, | הָעֵ֖מֶק | hāʿēmeq | ha-A-mek |
| and the plain | וְנִשְׁמַ֣ד | wĕnišmad | veh-neesh-MAHD |
| destroyed, be shall | הַמִּישֹׁ֑ר | hammîšōr | ha-mee-SHORE |
| as | אֲשֶׁ֖ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| the Lord | אָמַ֥ר | ʾāmar | ah-MAHR |
