Job 34
1 అప్పుడు ఎలీహు మరల ఈలాగు చెప్పసాగెను
2 జ్ఞానులారా, నా మాటలు వినుడి అనుభవశాలులారా, నాకు చెవియొగ్గుడి
3 అంగిలి ఆహారమును రుచి చూచునట్లు చెవి మాటలను పరీక్షించును.
4 న్యాయమైనదేదో విచారించి చూతము రండి మేలైనదేదో మనంతట మనము విచారించి తెలిసి కొందము రండి.
5 నేను నీతిమంతుడను దేవుడు నా పట్ల న్యాయము తప్పెను
6 న్యాయవంతుడనై యుండియు నేను అబద్దికునిగా ఎంచబడుచున్నానునేను తిరుగుబాటు చేయకపోయినను నాకు మానజాలని గాయము కలిగెనని యోబు అనుచున్నాడు.
7 యోబువంటి మానవుడెవడు? అతడు మంచి నీళ్లవలె తిరస్కారమును పానముచేయుచున్నాడు.
8 అతడు చెడుతనము చేయువారికి చెలికాడాయెను భక్తిహీనులకు సహవాసి ఆయెను.
9 నరులు దేవునితో సహవాసము చేయుట వారి కేమాత్రమును ప్రయోజనకరము కాదని అతడు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నాడు.
10 విజ్ఞానముగల మనుష్యులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి దేవుడు అన్యాయము చేయుట అసంభవము. సర్వశక్తుడు దుష్కార్యము చేయుట అసంభవము
11 నరుల క్రియలకు తగినట్టుగా ఫలము ఆయన వారి కిచ్చును అందరికి వారి వారి మార్గములనుబట్టి వారికి ఫల మిచ్చును.
12 దేవుడు ఏ మాత్రమును దుష్కార్యము చేయడు సర్వశక్తుడు న్యాయము తప్పడు.
13 ఎవడైన భూమిని ఆయనకు అప్పగింతపెట్టెనా? ఎవడైన సర్వప్రపంచ భారమును ఆయన కప్పగించెనా?
14 ఆయన తన మనస్సు తనమీదనే ఉంచుకొనిన యెడల తన శ్వాసనిశ్వాసములను తనయొద్దకు తిరిగి తీసికొనిన యెడల
15 శరీరులందరు ఏకముగా నశించెదరు నరులు మరల ధూళియై పోవుదురు.
16 కావున దీని విని వివేచించుము నా మాటల నాలకింపుము.
17 న్యాయమును ద్వేషించువాడు లోకము నేలునా? న్యాయసంపన్నుడైనవానిమీద నేరము మోపుదువా?
18 నీవు పనికిమాలినవాడవని రాజుతోనైనను మీరు దుష్టులని ప్రధానులతోనైనను అనవచ్చునా?
19 రాజులయెడల పక్షపాతము చూపనివానితోను బీదలకన్న ధనముగలవారిని ఎక్కువగా చూడని వాని తోను ఆలాగు పలుకుట తగునా? వారందరు ఆయన నిర్మించినవారు కారా?
20 వారు నిమిషములో చనిపోవుదురు మధ్యరాత్రి ప్రజలు కల్లోలమునొంది నాశనమగుదురు బలవంతులు దైవికముగా కొనిపోబడెదరు.
21 ఆయన దృష్టి నరుల మార్గములమీద నుంచబడియున్నది ఆయన వారినడకలన్నియు కనిపెట్టి చూచుచున్నాడు.
22 దుష్‌క్రియలు చేయువారు దాగుకొనుటకు చీకటియైనను మరణాంధకారమైనను లేదు.
23 ఒకడు న్యాయవిమర్శలోనికి రాకముందు బహుకాలము అతనిని విచారణచేయుట దేవునికి అగత్యము లేదు.
24 విచారణ లేకుండనే బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు వారి స్థానమున ఇతరులను నియమించుచున్నాడు.
25 వారి క్రియలను ఆయన తెలిసికొనుచున్నాడు రాత్రియందు ఆయన నాశనము కలుగజేయగా వారు నలుగగొట్టబడుదురు.
26 దుష్టులని బహిరంగముగానే ఆయన వారిని శిక్షించును.
27 ఏలయనగా వారు ఆయనను అనుసరించుట మానిరి ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలలో దేనినైనను లక్ష్యపెట్టకపోయిరి.
28 బీదల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చునట్లు చేసిరి దీనుల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనకు వినబడునట్లు చేసిరి.
29 ఆయన సమాధానము కలుగజేసినయెడల శిక్ష విధింప గలవాడెవడు?ఆయన తన ముఖమును దాచుకొనినయెడలఆయనను చూడగలవాడెవడు? అది అనేకులను గూర్చినదైనను ఒకటే, ఒకని గూర్చిన దైనను ఒకటే
30 భక్తిహీనులు రాజ్యపరిపాలన చేయకుండునట్లు వారు ప్రజలను చిక్కించుకొనకుండునట్లు బలవంతు లను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు
31 ఒకడునేను శిక్షనొందితిని నేను ఇకను పాపము చేయను
32 నాకు తెలియనిదానిని నాకు నేర్పుము నేను దుష్కార్యము చేసియున్న యెడల ఇకను చేయనని దేవునితో చెప్పునా?
33 నీకిష్టము వచ్చినట్లు ఆయన ప్రతికారముచేయునా? లేనియెడల నీవుందువా? నేను కాదు నీవేనిశ్చయింపవలెను గనుక నీవు ఎరిగిన దానిని పలుకుము.
34 వివేచనగలవారు జ్ఞానముగలిగి నా మాట వినువారు నాతో నీలాగు పలుకుదురు
35 యోబు తెలివిమాలిన మాటలాడుచున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు బుద్ధిహీనమైనవి
36 దుష్టులవలె యోబు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చినందున అతడు తుదముట్ట శోధింపబడవలెనని నేనెంతో కోరు చున్నాను.
37 అతడు తన పాపమునకు తోడుగా ద్రోహము కూర్చు కొనుచున్నాడు మనయెదుట చప్పట్లుకొట్టి దేవునిమీద కాని మాటలు పెంచుచున్నాడు.
1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,
2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.
4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
5 For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
7 What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
8 Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
9 For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
10 Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.
16 If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.
17 Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?
18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.
20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.
24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.
25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:
30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.
31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:
32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.
34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.
35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
Job 12 in Tamil and English
1 అప్పుడు యోబు ఈలాగు ప్రత్యుత్తర...మిచ్చెను
And Job answered and said,
2 నిజముగా లోకములో మీరే జనులుమీతోనే జ్ఞానము గతించి పోవును.
No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3 అయినను మీకున్నట్టు నాకును వివేచనాశక్తి కలిగియున్నదినేను మీకంటె తక్కువజ్ఞానము కలవాడను కానుమీరు చెప్పినవాటిని ఎరుగనివాడెవడు?దేవునికి మొఱ్ఱపెట్టి ప్రత్యుత్తరములు పొందిన వాడనైన నేను
But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4 నా స్నేహితునికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా నుండవలసి వచ్చెను.నీతియు యథార్థతయు గలవాడు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా నుండవలసి వచ్చెను.
I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5 దుర్దశ నొందినవానిని తిరస్కరించుట క్షేమముగలవారు యుక్తమనుకొందురు.కాలుజారువారికొరకు తిరస్కారము కనిపెట్టుచున్నది.
He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6 దోపిడిగాండ్ర కాపురములు వర్థిల్లునుదేవునికి కోపము పుట్టించువారు నిర్భయముగానుందురువారు తమ బాహుబలమే తమకు దేవుడనుకొందురు.
The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
7 అయినను మృగములను విచారించుము అవి నీకు బోధించునుఆకాశపక్షులను విచారించుము అవి నీకు తెలియజేయును.
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 భూమినిగూర్చి ధ్యానించినయెడల అది నీకు భోధించునుసముద్రములోని చేపలును నీకు దాని వివరించును
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 వీటి అన్నిటినిబట్టి యోచించుకొనినయెడలయెహోవా హస్తము వీటిని కలుగజేసెనని తెలిసికొనలేనివాడెవడు?
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 జీవరాసుల ప్రాణమును మనుష్యులందరి ఆత్మలును ఆయన వశమున నున్నవి గదా.
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
11 అంగిలి ఆహారమును రుచి చూచునట్లుచెవి మాటలను పరీక్షింపదా?
Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12 వృద్ధులయొద్ద జ్ఞానమున్నది, దీర్ఘాయువువలన వివేచన కలుగుచున్నది. అని మీరు చెప్పుదురు
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 జ్ఞానశౌర్యములు ఆయనయొద్ద ఉన్నవిఆలోచనయు వివేచనయు ఆయనకు కలవు.
With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
14 ఆలోచించుము ఆయన పడగొట్టగా ఎవరును మరలకట్టజాలరుఆయన మనుష్యుని చెరలో మూసివేయగా తెరచుట ఎవరికిని సాధ్యము కాదు.
Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
15 ఆలోచించుము ఆయన జలములను బిగబట్టగా అవి ఆరిపోవునువాటిని ప్రవహింపనియ్యగా అవి భూమిని ముంచివేయును.
Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16 బలమును జ్ఞానమును ఆయనకు స్వభావలక్షణములుమోసపడువారును మోసపుచ్చువారును ఆయన వశ మున నున్నారు.
With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17 ఆలోచనకర్తలను వస్త్రహీనులనుగా చేసి ఆయన వారిని తోడుకొని పోవును.న్యాయాధిపతులను అవివేకులనుగా కనుపరచును.
He leadeth counsellers away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18 రాజుల అధికారమును ఆయన కొట్టివేయునువారి నడుములకు గొలుసులు కట్టును.
He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19 యాజకులను వస్త్రహీనులనుగాచేసి వారిని తోడుకొని పోవునుస్థిరముగా నాటుకొనినవారిని ఆయన పడగొట్టును.
He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20 వాక్చాతుర్యము గలవారి పలుకును ఆయన నిరర్థకము చేయునుపెద్దలను బుద్ధిలేనివారినిగా చేయును.
He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
21 అధిపతులను ఆయన తిరస్కారము చేయును బలాఢ్యుల నడికట్లను విప్పును.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
22 చీకటిలోని రహస్యములను ఆయన బయలుపరచుచుమరణాంధకారమును వెలుగులోనికి రప్పించును
He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
23 జనములను విస్తరింపజేయును నిర్మూలముచేయునుసరిహద్దులను విశాలపరచును జనములను కొనిపోవును.
He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
24 భూజనుల అధిపతుల వివేచనను ఆయన నిరర్థక పరచునుత్రోవలేని మహారణ్యములో వారిని తిరుగులాడ చేయును.
He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25 వారు వెలుగులేక చీకటిలో తడబడుచుందురుమత్తుగొనినవాడు తూలునట్లు ఆయన వారిని తూలచేయును.
They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
