Judges 13:24
తరువాత ఆ స్త్రీ కుమారుని కని అతనికి సమ్సోను అను పేరు పెట్టెను. ఆ బాలుడు ఎదిగినప్పుడు యెహోవా అతని నాశీర్వదించెను.

| name his | שְׁמ֖וֹ | šĕmô | sheh-MOH |
| Samson: | שִׁמְשׁ֑וֹן | šimšôn | sheem-SHONE |
| and the child | וַיִּגְדַּ֣ל | wayyigdal | va-yeeɡ-DAHL |
| grew, | הַנַּ֔עַר | hannaʿar | ha-NA-ar |
| and the Lord | וַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּ | wayborkēhû | va-vore-HAY-hoo |
| blessed | יְהוָֽה׃ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
