సమూయేలు మొదటి గ్రంథము 21:13
కాబట్టి దావీదు వారి యెదుట తన చర్య మార్చుకొని వెఱ్ఱివానివలె నటించుచు, ద్వారపు తలుపుల మీద గీతలు గీయుచు, ఉమి్మ తన గడ్డముమీదికి కారనిచ్చుచు నుండెను. వారతని పట్టుకొనిపోగా అతడు పిచ్చిచేష్టలు చేయుచు వచ్చెను.

And he changed	וַיְשַׁנּ֤וֹ	wayšannô	vai-SHA-noh
	אֶת	ʾet	et
his behaviour	טַעְמוֹ֙	ṭaʿmô	ta-MOH
before	בְּעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם	bĕʿênêhem	beh-A-nay-HEM
mad himself feigned and them,	וַיִּתְהֹלֵ֖ל	wayyithōlēl	va-yeet-hoh-LALE
in their hands,	בְּיָדָ֑ם	bĕyādām	beh-ya-DAHM
scrabbled and	וַיְתָו֙	waytāw	vai-TAHV
on	עַל	ʿal	al
the doors	דַּלְת֣וֹת	daltôt	dahl-TOTE
of the gate,	הַשַּׁ֔עַר	haššaʿar	ha-SHA-ar
spittle his let and	וַיּ֥וֹרֶד	wayyôred	VA-yoh-red
fall down	רִיר֖וֹ	rîrô	ree-ROH
upon	אֶל	ʾel	el
his beard.	זְקָנֽוֹ׃	zĕqānô	zeh-ka-NOH
