సమూయేలు రెండవ గ్రంథము 17:22
దావీదును అతని యొద్దనున్న జనులందరును లేచి యొర్దానునది దాటిరి, తెల్లవారునప్పటికి నది దాటక యుండినవాడు ఒకడును లేకపోయెను.

Then David	וַיָּ֣קָם	wayyāqom	va-YA-kome
arose,	דָּוִ֗ד	dāwid	da-VEED
and all	וְכָל	wĕkāl	veh-HAHL
the people	הָעָם֙	hāʿām	ha-AM
that	אֲשֶׁ֣ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
with were	אִתּ֔וֹ	ʾittô	EE-toh
him, and they passed over	וַיַּֽעַבְר֖וּ	wayyaʿabrû	va-ya-av-ROO
	אֶת	ʾet	et
Jordan:	הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן	hayyardēn	ha-yahr-DANE
by	עַד	ʿad	ad
the morning	א֣וֹר	ʾôr	ore
light	הַבֹּ֗קֶר	habbōqer	ha-BOH-ker
there lacked	עַד	ʿad	ad
not	אַחַד֙	ʾaḥad	ah-HAHD
one	לֹ֣א	lōʾ	loh
that them of	נֶעְדָּ֔ר	neʿdār	neh-DAHR
was not	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
gone over	לֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
Jordan.	עָבַ֖ר	ʿābar	ah-VAHR
	אֶת	ʾet	et
	הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃	hayyardēn	ha-yahr-DANE
