యెషయా గ్రంథము 44:9
విగ్రహమును నిర్మించువారందరు మాయవంటివారు వారికిష్టమైన విగ్రహములు నిష్ప్రయోజనములు తామే అందుకు సాక్షులు, వారు గ్రహించువారు కారు ఎరుగువారు కారు గనుక వారు సిగ్గుపడరు.

| and their delectable things | וַחֲמוּדֵיהֶ֖ם | waḥămûdêhem | va-huh-moo-day-HEM |
| shall not | בַּל | bal | bahl |
| profit; | יוֹעִ֑ילוּ | yôʿîlû | yoh-EE-loo |
| and they | וְעֵדֵיהֶ֣ם | wĕʿēdêhem | veh-ay-day-HEM |
| are their own witnesses; | הֵׄ֗מָּׄהׄ | hēmmâ | HAY-ma |
| they see | בַּל | bal | bahl |
| not, | יִרְא֛וּ | yirʾû | yeer-OO |
| nor | וּבַל | ûbal | oo-VAHL |
| know; | יֵדְע֖וּ | yēdĕʿû | yay-deh-OO |
| that | לְמַ֥עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| they may be ashamed. | יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃ | yēbōšû | yay-voh-SHOO |
