பேலியாளின் மக்களாகிய வீணர் அவனோடேகூடி, சாலொமோனின் குமாரனாகிய ரெகொபெயாம் அவர்களை எதிர்க்கக் கூடாமல் வாலவயதும் திடனற்ற மனதுமாயிருக்கையில், அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தங்களைப் பலப்படுத்திக்கொண்டார்கள்.
