தேவாலயத்துக்கு இருக்கிற அரணின் கதவு வேலைக்கும், நகர அலங்கத்தின் வேலைக்கும், நான் தங்கப்போகிற வீட்டின் வேலைக்கும் வேண்டிய மரங்களை ராஜாவின் வனத்துக் காவலாளனாகிய ஆசாப் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், அவனுக்கும் ஒரு கடிதம் கட்டளையிடப்படுவதாக என்றேன்; என் தேவனுடைய தயவுள்ள கரம் என்மேல் இருந்தபடியால், ராஜா அவைகளை எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

அந்நாளிலே மீன்வாசலிலிருந்து கூக்குரலின் சத்தமும், நகரத்தின் இரண்டாம் பாகத்திலிருந்து அலறுதலும், மேடுகளிலிருந்து மகா சங்காரத்தின் இரைச்சலும் உண்டாகுமென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

பழைய வாசலைப் பசெயாசின் குமாரனாகிய யோய்தாவும், பேசோதியாவின் குமாரனாகிய மெசுல்லாமும் பழுதுபார்த்துக் கட்டினார்கள்; அவர்கள் அதற்கு உத்தரம்பாவி, அதற்குக் கதவுகளையும் பூட்டுகளையும் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் போட்டார்கள்.
