எசேக்கியேல் 7:15
வெளியே பட்டயமும் உள்ளே கொள்ளைநோயும் பஞ்சமும் உண்டு; வயல் வெளியில் இருக்கிறவன் பட்டயத்தால் சாவான்; நகரத்தில் இருக்கிறவனையோ பஞ்சமும் கொள்ளைநோயும் பட்சிக்கும்.

தேவனுடைய மனிதனாகிய எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரன் கேயாசி என்பவன், அந்தச் சீரியனாகிய நாகமான் கொண்டுவந்ததை என் எஜமான் அவனுடைய கையிலிருந்து வாங்காமல் அவனை விட்டுவிட்டார்; நான் அவன் பின்னே ஓடி, அவனுடைய கையிலிருந்து ஏதாகிலும் வாங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவன்மேல் ஆணையிட்டு,

ஆனால் தேவமனிதனின் (எலிசாவின்) வேலைக்காரனான கேயாசி, “பாருங்கள் எனது எஜமானன் (எலிசா) ஆராமியனான, நாகமானிடமிருந்து அவன் கொண்டுவந்த எவ்வித அன்பளிப்புகளையும் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாமல் போக அனுமதித்திருக்கிறார்! நான் அவன் பின்னால் ஓடிப்போய் கொஞ்சம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்!” என்று கூறி,
