এছাড়াও যারবিয়াম উচ্চ স্থানে মন্দির বানিয়েছিল| শুধুমাত্র লেবীয়দের পরিবারগোষ্ঠী থেকে যাজক বেছে নেওয়ার পরিবর্তে সে ইস্রায়েলের বিভিন্ন পরিবারগোষ্ঠী থেকে যাজকদের বেছে নিয়েছিল|
