Amos 6:14
“কিন্তু ইস্রায়েল, আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে একটি জাতিকে পাঠাব| সেই জাতি তোমাদের সমস্ত দেশের মধ্যে গণ্ডগোলের সৃষ্টি করবে| লেবো-হমাত্‌ থেকে আরবাহ্-ব্রুক পর্য়ন্ত সবটা জুড়ে|” প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর ওই কথাগুলো বলেছিলেন|

அபிமெலேக்கு மரித்தபின், தேவன் மற்றொரு நியாயாதிபதியை இஸ்ரவேலரை காப்பாற்றும்படி எழுப்பினார். அந்த மனிதனின் பெயர் தோலா. தோலா, பூவா என்பவனின் மகன். பூவா தோதோவின் மகன். தோலா இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன். தோலா சாமீர் நகரத்தில் வசித்து வந்தான். சாமீர் நகரம் எப்பிராயீம் மலைநாட்டில் இருந்தது.

அபிமெலேக்குக்குப்பின்பு, தோதோவின் மகனாகிய பூவாவின் குமாரன் தோலா என்னும் இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தான் இஸ்ரவேலை இரட்சிக்க எழும்பினான்; அவன் எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்து ஊராகிய சாமீரிலே குடியிருந்தான்.
