দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 31:9
তারপর মোশি সেই শিক্ষাগুলি লিখে যাজকদের হাতে দিলেন| যাজকরা ছিল লেবি গোষ্ঠীর লোক, যাদের কাজ ছিল প্রভুর চুক্তির সেই সিন্দুক বহন করা| মোশি ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত প্রবীণদের কাছেও শিক্ষাগুলি দিলেন|

মোশি তখন খাতাটি নিয়ে তাতে লেখা চুক্তিগুলি চেঁচিয়ে পড়তে থাকল| লোকরা তা শুনে বলে উঠল, “আমরা প্রভুর দেওয়া বিধিগুলি শুনেছি এবং আমরা তা মানতে রাজি আছি|”
দ্বিতীয় বিবরণ 4:13
প্রভু তাঁর চুক্তির কথা তোমাদের বলেছিলেন এবং দশটি আজ্ঞা দিয়ে তোমাদের সেগুলো মেনে চলতে বলেছিলেন| সেই বিধিগুলো প্রভু দুটি পাথরের ফলকের ওপরে লিখেছিলেন|
