וַיְהִ֨י it vai-HEE מִיָּמִ֜ים came mee-ya-MEEM בִּימֵ֣י to bee-MAY קְצִיר pass keh-TSEER חִטִּ֗ים within hee-TEEM וַיִּפְקֹ֨ד a va-yeef-KODE שִׁמְשׁ֤וֹן while sheem-SHONE אֶת after, et אִשְׁתּוֹ֙ in eesh-TOH בִּגְדִ֣י the beeɡ-DEE עִזִּ֔ים time ee-ZEEM וַיֹּ֕אמֶר of va-YOH-mer אָבֹ֥אָה wheat ah-VOH-ah אֶל harvest, el אִשְׁתִּ֖י that eesh-TEE הֶחָ֑דְרָה Samson heh-HA-deh-ra וְלֹֽא visited veh-LOH נְתָנ֥וֹ neh-ta-NOH אָבִ֖יהָ his ah-VEE-ha לָבֽוֹא׃ wife la-VOH -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר her va-YOH-mer אָבִ֗יהָ father ah-VEE-ha אָמֹ֤ר said, ah-MORE אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ I ah-MAHR-TEE כִּֽי verily kee שָׂנֹ֣א thought sa-NOH שְׂנֵאתָ֔הּ that seh-nay-TA וָֽאֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה thou va-eh-teh-NEH-na לְמֵֽרֵעֶ֑ךָ hadst leh-may-ray-EH-ha הֲלֹ֨א utterly huh-LOH אֲחוֹתָ֤הּ hated uh-hoh-TA הַקְּטַנָּה֙ her; ha-keh-ta-NA טוֹבָ֣ה therefore toh-VA מִמֶּ֔נָּה I mee-MEH-na תְּהִי gave teh-HEE נָ֥א her na לְךָ֖ to leh-HA תַּחְתֶּֽיהָ׃ thy tahk-TAY-ha -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Samson va-YOH-mer לָהֶם֙ said la-HEM שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן concerning sheem-SHONE נִקֵּ֥יתִי them, nee-KAY-tee הַפַּ֖עַם Now ha-PA-am מִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים shall mee-peh-leesh-TEEM כִּֽי I kee עֹשֶׂ֥ה be oh-SEH אֲנִ֛י more uh-NEE עִמָּ֖ם blameless ee-MAHM רָעָֽה׃ than ra-AH -
וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ Samson va-YAY-lek שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן went sheem-SHONE וַיִּלְכֹּ֖ד and va-yeel-KODE שְׁלֹשׁ caught sheh-LOHSH מֵא֣וֹת three may-OTE שֽׁוּעָלִ֑ים hundred shoo-ah-LEEM וַיִּקַּ֣ח foxes, va-yee-KAHK לַפִּדִ֗ים and la-pee-DEEM וַיֶּ֤פֶן took va-YEH-fen זָנָב֙ firebrands, za-NAHV אֶל and el זָנָ֔ב turned za-NAHV וַיָּ֨שֶׂם tail va-YA-sem לַפִּ֥יד to la-PEED אֶחָ֛ד tail, eh-HAHD בֵּין and bane שְׁנֵ֥י put sheh-NAY הַזְּנָב֖וֹת a ha-zeh-na-VOTE בַּתָּֽוֶךְ׃ firebrand ba-TA-vek -
וַיַּבְעֶר when va-yahv-ER אֵשׁ֙ he aysh בַּלַּפִּידִ֔ים had ba-la-pee-DEEM וַיְשַׁלַּ֖ח set vai-sha-LAHK בְּקָמ֣וֹת the beh-ka-MOTE פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים brands peh-leesh-TEEM וַיַּבְעֵ֛ר on va-yahv-ARE מִגָּדִ֥ישׁ fire, mee-ɡa-DEESH וְעַד he veh-AD קָמָ֖ה let ka-MA וְעַד them veh-AD כֶּ֥רֶם go KEH-rem זָֽיִת׃ into ZA-yeet -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO פְלִשְׁתִּים֮ Philistines feh-leesh-TEEM מִ֣י said, mee עָ֣שָׂה Who AH-sa זֹאת֒ hath zote וַיֹּֽאמְר֗וּ done va-yoh-meh-ROO שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ this? sheem-SHONE חֲתַ֣ן And huh-TAHN הַתִּמְנִ֔י they ha-teem-NEE כִּ֚י answered, kee לָקַ֣ח Samson, la-KAHK אֶת the et אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ son eesh-TOH וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ in va-yee-teh-NA לְמֵֽרֵעֵ֑הוּ law leh-may-ray-A-hoo וַיַּֽעֲל֣וּ of va-ya-uh-LOO פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים the feh-leesh-TEEM וַיִּשְׂרְפ֥וּ Timnite, va-yees-reh-FOO אוֹתָ֛הּ because oh-TA וְאֶת he veh-ET אָבִ֖יהָ had ah-VEE-ha בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ taken ba-AYSH -
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Samson va-YOH-mer לָהֶם֙ said la-HEM שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן unto sheem-SHONE אִֽם them, eem תַּעֲשׂ֖וּן Though ta-uh-SOON כָּזֹ֑את ye ka-ZOTE כִּ֛י have kee אִם done eem נִקַּ֥מְתִּי this, nee-KAHM-tee בָכֶ֖ם yet va-HEM וְאַחַ֥ר veh-ah-HAHR אֶחְדָּֽל׃ will ek-DAHL -
וַיַּ֨ךְ he va-YAHK אוֹתָ֥ם smote oh-TAHM שׁ֛וֹק them shoke עַל hip al יָרֵ֖ךְ and ya-RAKE מַכָּ֣ה thigh ma-KA גְדוֹלָ֑ה with ɡeh-doh-LA וַיֵּ֣רֶד a va-YAY-red וַיֵּ֔שֶׁב great va-YAY-shev בִּסְעִ֖יף slaughter: bees-EEF סֶ֥לַע and SEH-la עֵיטָֽם׃ he ay-TAHM -
וַיַּֽעֲל֣וּ the va-ya-uh-LOO פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים Philistines feh-leesh-TEEM וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ went va-ya-huh-NOO בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה up, bee-hoo-DA וַיִּנָּֽטְשׁ֖וּ and va-yee-na-teh-SHOO בַּלֶּֽחִי׃ pitched ba-LEH-hee -
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ the va-yoh-meh-ROO אִ֣ישׁ men eesh יְהוּדָ֔ה of yeh-hoo-DA לָמָ֖ה Judah la-MA עֲלִיתֶ֣ם said, uh-lee-TEM עָלֵ֑ינוּ Why ah-LAY-noo וַיֹּֽאמְר֗וּ are va-yoh-meh-ROO לֶֽאֱס֤וֹר ye leh-ay-SORE אֶת come et שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ up sheem-SHONE עָלִ֔ינוּ against ah-LEE-noo לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת us? la-uh-SOTE ל֔וֹ And loh כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר they ka-uh-SHER עָ֥שָׂה answered, AH-sa לָֽנוּ׃ To la-NOO -
וַיֵּֽרְד֡וּ three va-yay-reh-DOO שְׁלֹשֶׁת֩ thousand sheh-loh-SHET אֲלָפִ֨ים men uh-la-FEEM אִ֜ישׁ of eesh מִֽיהוּדָ֗ה Judah mee-hoo-DA אֶל went el סְעִיף֮ to seh-EEF סֶ֣לַע the SEH-la עֵיטָם֒ top ay-TAHM וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ of va-yoh-meh-ROO לְשִׁמְשׁ֗וֹן the leh-sheem-SHONE הֲלֹ֤א rock huh-LOH יָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ Etam, ya-DA-TA כִּֽי and kee מֹשְׁלִ֥ים said moh-sheh-LEEM בָּ֙נוּ֙ to BA-NOO פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים Samson, peh-leesh-TEEM וּמַה Knowest oo-MA זֹּ֖את thou zote עָשִׂ֣יתָ not ah-SEE-ta לָּ֑נוּ that LA-noo וַיֹּ֣אמֶר the va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֔ם Philistines la-HEM כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ are ka-uh-SHER עָ֣שׂוּ rulers AH-soo לִ֔י over lee כֵּ֖ן us? kane עָשִׂ֥יתִי what ah-SEE-tee לָהֶֽם׃ is la-HEM -
וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ they va-YOH-meh-roo לוֹ֙ said loh לֶֽאֱסָרְךָ֣ unto leh-ay-sore-HA יָרַ֔דְנוּ him, ya-RAHD-noo לְתִתְּךָ֖ We leh-tee-teh-HA בְּיַד are beh-YAHD פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים come peh-leesh-TEEM וַיֹּ֤אמֶר down va-YOH-mer לָהֶם֙ to la-HEM שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן bind sheem-SHONE הִשָּֽׁבְע֣וּ thee, hee-sha-veh-OO לִ֔י that lee פֶּֽן we pen תִּפְגְּע֥וּן may teef-ɡeh-OON בִּ֖י deliver bee אַתֶּֽם׃ thee ah-TEM -
וַיֹּ֧אמְרוּ they va-YOH-meh-roo ל֣וֹ spake loh לֵאמֹ֗ר unto lay-MORE לֹ֚א him, loh כִּֽי saying, kee אָסֹ֤ר No; ah-SORE נֶֽאֱסָרְךָ֙ but neh-ay-sore-HA וּנְתַנּ֣וּךָ we oo-neh-TA-noo-ha בְיָדָ֔ם will veh-ya-DAHM וְהָמֵ֖ת bind veh-ha-MATE לֹ֣א thee loh נְמִיתֶ֑ךָ fast, neh-mee-TEH-ha וַיַּֽאַסְרֻ֗הוּ and va-ya-as-ROO-hoo בִּשְׁנַ֙יִם֙ deliver beesh-NA-YEEM עֲבֹתִ֣ים thee uh-voh-TEEM חֲדָשִׁ֔ים into huh-da-SHEEM וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּהוּ their va-ya-uh-LOO-hoo מִן hand: meen הַסָּֽלַע׃ but ha-SA-la -
הוּא when hoo בָ֣א he va עַד came ad לֶ֔חִי unto LEH-hee וּפְלִשְׁתִּ֖ים Lehi, oo-feh-leesh-TEEM הֵרִ֣יעוּ the hay-REE-oo לִקְרָאת֑וֹ Philistines leek-ra-TOH וַתִּצְלַ֨ח shouted va-teets-LAHK עָלָ֜יו against ah-LAV ר֣וּחַ him: ROO-ak יְהוָ֗ה and yeh-VA וַתִּֽהְיֶ֨ינָה the va-tee-heh-YAY-na הָֽעֲבֹתִ֜ים Spirit ha-uh-voh-TEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר of uh-SHER עַל the al זְרֽוֹעוֹתָ֗יו Lord zeh-roh-oh-TAV כַּפִּשְׁתִּים֙ came ka-peesh-TEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר mightily uh-SHER בָּֽעֲר֣וּ upon ba-uh-ROO בָאֵ֔שׁ him, va-AYSH וַיִּמַּ֥סּוּ and va-yee-MA-soo אֱסוּרָ֖יו the ay-soo-RAV מֵעַ֥ל cords may-AL יָדָֽיו׃ that ya-DAIV -
וַיִּמְצָ֥א he va-yeem-TSA לְחִֽי found leh-HEE חֲמ֖וֹר a huh-MORE טְרִיָּ֑ה new teh-ree-YA וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח jawbone va-yeesh-LAHK יָדוֹ֙ of ya-DOH וַיִּקָּחֶ֔הָ an va-yee-ka-HEH-ha וַיַּךְ ass, va-YAHK בָּ֖הּ and ba אֶ֥לֶף put EH-lef אִֽישׁ׃ forth eesh -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Samson va-YOH-mer שִׁמְשׁ֔וֹן said, sheem-SHONE בִּלְחִ֣י With beel-HEE הַֽחֲמ֔וֹר the ha-huh-MORE חֲמ֖וֹר jawbone huh-MORE חֲמֹֽרָתָ֑יִם of huh-moh-ra-TA-yeem בִּלְחִ֣י an beel-HEE הַֽחֲמ֔וֹר ass, ha-huh-MORE הִכֵּ֖יתִי heaps hee-KAY-tee אֶ֥לֶף upon EH-lef אִֽישׁ׃ heaps, eesh -
וַֽיְהִי֙ it va-HEE כְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ came keh-ha-loh-TOH לְדַבֵּ֔ר to leh-da-BARE וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ pass, va-yahsh-LAKE הַלְּחִ֖י when ha-leh-HEE מִיָּד֑וֹ he mee-ya-DOH וַיִּקְרָ֛א had va-yeek-RA לַמָּק֥וֹם made la-ma-KOME הַה֖וּא an ha-HOO רָ֥מַת end RA-maht לֶֽחִי׃ of LEH-hee -
וַיִּצְמָא֮ he va-yeets-MA מְאֹד֒ was meh-ODE וַיִּקְרָ֤א sore va-yeek-RA אֶל athirst, el יְהוָה֙ and yeh-VA וַיֹּאמַ֔ר called va-yoh-MAHR אַתָּה֙ on ah-TA נָתַ֣תָּ the na-TA-ta בְיַֽד Lord, veh-YAHD עַבְדְּךָ֔ and av-deh-HA אֶת said, et הַתְּשׁוּעָ֥ה Thou ha-teh-shoo-AH הַגְּדֹלָ֖ה hast ha-ɡeh-doh-LA הַזֹּ֑את given ha-ZOTE וְעַתָּה֙ veh-ah-TA אָמ֣וּת this ah-MOOT בַּצָּמָ֔א great ba-tsa-MA וְנָֽפַלְתִּ֖י deliverance veh-na-fahl-TEE בְּיַ֥ד into beh-YAHD הָֽעֲרֵלִֽים׃ the HA-uh-ray-LEEM -
