Psalm 20
1 যখন তুমি সংকটের মধ্যে থাকো, তখন প্রভু য়েন তোমার ডাকে সাড়া দেন| যাকোবের ঈশ্বর তোমায় সেগুলো অতিক্রম করতে সাহায্য করুন|
2 ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্রস্থান থেকে তোমায় সাহায্য করুন| সিয়োন পর্বত থেকে তিনি য়েন তোমায় সাহায্য করেন|
3 তোমার দেওয়া সকল উত্সর্গ ঈশ্বর স্মরণে রাখুন| তোমার দেওয়া সকল নৈবেদ্য য়েন তিনি গ্রহণ করেন|
4 তুমি যা চাও, ঈশ্বর য়েন তাই মঞ্জুর করেন| তিনি য়েন, তোমার সব পরিকল্পনা সফল করেন|
5 ঈশ্বর যখন তোমাকে সাহায্য করেন তখন আমরা আনন্দ করব| এস, আমরা তাঁর নামের প্রশংসা করি| তুমি যা চাও প্রভু য়েন তোমাকে তার সব কিছুই দেন!
6 এখন আমি জেনেছি, প্রভু তাঁর মনোনীত রাজাকে সাহায্য করেন! প্রভু তাঁর পবিত্র স্বর্গলোকে বিরাজিত ছিলেন এবং তাঁর মনোনীত রাজাকে তিনি উত্তর দিয়েছিলেন|
7 কিছু লোক তাদের রথের ওপর নির্ভর করেছিল| কিছু লোক তাদের সৈন্যদের ওপর নির্ভর করেছিল| কিন্তু আমরা স্মরণে রেখেছিলাম আমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বরকে|
8 সেই সব লোকগুলো পরাজিত হয়েছে, তারা যুদ্ধে মারা গেছে| কিন্তু আমরা জিতেছি! আমরা বিজয়ী হয়েছি!
9 প্রভু তাঁর মনোনীত রাজাকে রক্ষা করেছেন! ঈশ্বরের মনোনীত রাজা সাহায্য চাইলো| প্রভু তার উত্তর দিলেন!
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
2 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
3 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
4 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
5 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
6 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
7 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
8 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
9 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
10 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.
