Psalm 75
1 হে ঈশ্বর, আমরা আপনার প্রশংসা করি! আমরা আপনার প্রশংসা করি| আপনি (আপনার নাম) খুব কাছাকাছি রয়েছেন এবং য়ে সব আশ্চর্য় কার্য়্য় আপনি করেছেন লোকে তার কথা বলে|
2 ঈশ্বর বলেন, “আমি বিচারের সময় নির্দিষ্ট করব এবং আমি ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে বিচার করবো|
3 পৃথিবী এবং পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু আছে সব কিছুই কম্পমান এবং পতনোন্মুখ হতে পারে, কিন্তু আমি ওদের দৃঢ় সংবদ্ধ করে রাখবো|”
4 “কিছু লোক প্রচণ্ড গর্বিত| ওরা ভাবে ওরাই শক্তিশালী এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ|
5 কিন্তু আমি ওই লোকদের বলেছি, মিথ্যা বড়াই করো না! এত অহঙ্কারী হযো না!”‘
6 পৃথিবীতে এমন কোন শক্তি নেই যা একটা মানুষকে এতখানি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ করে তুলতে পারে|
7 প্রভুই বিচারক| কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হবে তা ঈশ্বরই স্থির করেন| ঈশ্বর একজন ব্যক্তিকে তুলে নেন এবং তাকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ করে তোলেন| অন্যদিকে, তিনি অন্য এক ব্যক্তিকে টেনে নামিয়ে দেন এবং তাকে গুরুত্বহীন করেন|
8 মন্দ লোকদের শাস্তি দিতে ঈশ্বর সর্বদাই প্রস্তুত| প্রভুর হাতে একটা পেয়ালা আছে| সেই পেয়ালাটি বিষাক্ত দ্রাক্ষারসে পরিপূর্ণ| এই দ্রাক্ষারস (শাস্তি) তিনি মন্দ লোকদের ওপর ঢালবেন এবং শেষ বিন্দু পর্য়ন্ত তারা তা পান করবে|
9 এসব বিষয় সম্পর্কে আমি সর্বদাই লোকদের বলবো| আমি ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা গান করবো|
10 মন্দ লোকদের শক্তি আমি হরণ করবো এবং ভাল লোকদের আমি বেশী শক্তি দেবো|

2 Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
3 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
4 The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
5 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
6 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
8 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
9 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
10 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
11 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
