அவன் தாவீது ராஜாவின் சுகசெய்தியை விசாரிக்கவும், அவன் ஆதாரேசரோடு யுத்தம்பண்ணி, அவனை முறிய அடித்ததற்காக அவனுக்கு வினவுதல் சொல்லவும், தன் குமாரனாகிய அதோராமையும், பொன்னும் வெள்ளியும் வெண்கலமுமான சகலவிதத் தட்டுமுட்டுகளையும், அவனிடத்Τுக்கு அனுப்பினான்; ஆதாரேசர் தோயூவின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறவனாயிருந்தான்.

எனவே, தோயூ அவனது மகனான ஆதோராமை அரசன் தாவீதினிடம் அனுப்பி சமாதானத்தைத் தெரிவித்து ஆசீர்வாதத்தை வேண்டினான். தாவீது ஆதாரேசரின் படைகளுக்கு எதிராகப் போரிட்டுத் தோற்கடித்ததால் அவன் இவ்வாறு நடந்துக்கொண்டான். முன்பு போர்க்களத்தில் ஆதாரேசர் தோயூவோடு இருந்தான். ஆதோராம், தாவீதிற்குத் தங்கம், வெள்ளி, வெண்கலம் போன்றவற்றால் செய்யப்பட்டவற்றை அன்பளிப்பாகக் கொடுத்தான்.
